Overdraft Protection

Overdraft Protection is an easy, inexpensive and convenient way to safeguard your checking account. Overdrafts can be funded through a cash reserve, a savings transfer, or a combination of both. We offer four different plans to protect your checking account against overdrafts:

Plan 1: Cash Reserve*
This line of credit is attached to your checking account. When your account is overdrawn, funds are automatically transferred in $50.00 increments to cover the overdraft (up to your available credit limit). The minimum credit line available is $500.00 and the interest rate is 18.00% APR**

Plan 2: Cash Reserve then Savings Transfer*
This plan will attempt to cover your overdraft with your available line of credit. If there are inadequate reserve funds available, the balance will be covered by a transfer from your designated savings account.

Plan 3: Savings Transfer then Cash Reserve
This option automatically transfers funds from your share account to your checking account in the amount needed. If the funds are not available, the overdraft will be covered by the available reserve line of credit.

Plan 4: Exact Dollar Amount from Main Share or Money Market
This option automatically transfers funds from your main share (savings) account or money market account in the exact dollar amount needed.
