Members Plus Credit Union now offers GAP Protection (Guaranteed Asset Protection) Plus insurance for their members!

What is GAP coverage?
Protect your financial well being. GAP Protection pays the difference between your vehicle insurance company’s settlement and the remaining loan amount (directly related to the vehicle purchase), up to the maximums allowed by the credit union and/or state, in the event your vehicle is stolen or damaged beyond repair.

How does GAP work?
The GAP Plus fee can be included with your monthly payments or made separately by cash, check, charge or possibly electronic funds transfer. If your car is stolen or totaled in an accident and there’s a difference between what you owe on your  auto loan and the value of your vehicle, GAP Plus will help cancel the difference based on the terms of your member agreement.
