ELECTRONIC STATEMENTS & REGULATORY DISCLOSURES

Members Plus Credit Union offers members the option of receiving their statements and other disclosure material by electronic means. Members must enroll in the eStatement service to participate and agree to receive periodic statements electronically. MPCU may occasionally solicit information from  members, which requires them to disclose  certain personal information. Our members would provide this information to Members Plus Credit Union on a voluntary basis.

We reserve the right to disclose our members’ personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or to comply with judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our website.

18/65 NOTICE

For members 65 years of age or older or 18 years of age or younger: In accordance with M.G.L Chapter 171, Section 32B, also known as the “18/65 Law,” we do not impose any fee, charge or other assessment against the savings or checking account of any person age 65 or older, or age 18 or younger. However, a reasonable charge, as determined by the Commissioner of Banks, may be assessed against such accounts when payment has been refused due to Insufficient or Uncollected Funds. ATM fees apply.


You must notify us of your eligibility to receive these benefits. Please notify the Credit Union when you open your account(s) if you are in either of these age groups or if you become eligible for fee waivers at any time during your account holding. Eligible persons who have not already registered for this service should contact the Credit Union by visiting a branch office, or by calling us at 781-905-1500.


Note: We are required to notify you of this annually. If you have previously applied and are receiving the fee exemption you need not apply again.
