CHANGE TO MEMBERSHIP SHARE DEPOSIT REQUIREMENT

Effective 1/1/2022

Opening your share account is necessary to establishing your membership in the credit union and enables you to use other products like loans and checking accounts. We are pleased to inform you the Members Plus Credit Union Board of Directors voted to lower our base share deposit—the deposit that you made to become a member—from $25 to $5.

On January 1, 2022, we will release the hold on $20 of your initial $25 share deposit and it will be reflected in your available balance. With this change we are also reducing the minimum balance required to earn dividends from $25 to $5.
