Members Plus Credit Union respects the personal and financial privacy of all its members. We are committed to protecting the information on and within our website with the same safety and confidentiality standards utilized in the transaction of all Members Plus CU business. We do not sell, rent, or provide any member information to any list services or non-credit union affiliated agencies for any purpose.

WEBSITE

The amount and type of information we receive depends on how you use our site:

Website only users: You can visit Members Plus Credit Union’s website to read valuable information or use our online tools without telling us who you are and without revealing any personal information. The only information we collect and store during website only usage is non-personal information for the express purpose of tracking website use in order to improve design, service, and/or site navigation tools.

Internet Banking, Bill Pay, and Online Application users: Nonpublic personal information may be collected when a credit union member has registered to use Members Plus CU’s secure online banking services from the following sources:
• Information we receive from you on applications or other forms
• Information about your transactions with us or others
• Information we receive from a consumer reporting agency
• Email and electronic information sources
Online forms and applications that allow completion and online submission will only be executed in a secured site environment. Personal information provided by a user via any of Members Plus CU’s forms is used only to process the member’s request for service.

SERVICE PROVIDERS

We use other third parties to provide online banking, bill pay, and loan decision on our site. When you sign up for these services, we will share nonpublic personal information as necessary for the third party to provide that service.

These third parties are prohibited from using your personally identifiable information for any other purpose.

EMAIL

Members choosing to e-mail the credit union with questions or comments should be aware that any information attached to that e-mail address, such as, name or workplace will be revealed to Members Plus CU. It is our pledge, however, that when our members communicate with us via e-mail, we will use your e-mail information only for the specific purpose of responding to our members’ comments or questions. MPCU will not sell our members' e-mail addresses, nor will the credit union share our members' e-mail addresses with any other third parties that the credit union may be involved with.

COOKIES
A secure cookie is a small text file that is stored on a user’s computer to help recognize the computer used to access a website. The Members Plus CU website does not use cookies. However, if a member uses online banking and chooses to “Remember This Computer,” a cookie will be stored on your PC during login which lets you bypass your personalized security questions whenever you access online banking in the future. The secure cookie will periodically expire on your computer and will require you to remember your computer again.

MARKETING SOLICITATIONS

Members Plus Credit Union may solicit personal information from members on a voluntary basis. This information will be used for a specific promotion or to enable the credit union to contact members with additional information about our products and services.

ELECTRONIC STATEMENTS & REGULATORY DISCLOSURES

Currently Members Plus Credit Union does not offer to members the option of receiving their statements and other disclosure material by electronic means. However, if this service is implemented, MPCU may from time to time, solicit information from our members, which requires them to disclose to us certain personal information. Of course our members would provide this information to Members Plus Credit Union on a voluntary basis.

LEGAL DISCLAIMER

We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or to comply with judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our Web site.

Members Plus Credit Union reserves the right to change this policy at any time by posting and disclosing a new Website policy.
